Suitable groups: home decoration with limited budget, rental housing, commercial space (such as offices, shopping malls).
(2) Wear-resistant and durable, suitable for high-traffic areas
High wear resistance (AC3~AC5 level), more scratch-resistant than solid wood and solid wood composite flooring, suitable for high-frequency use scenarios such as living rooms, corridors, shops, etc.
Strong stability, not easy to deform, suitable for floor heating environment (special floor heating model must be selected).
(3) Rich colors and diverse styles

2. Competitive challenges faced by laminate flooring
Although laminate flooring still has a market, it has been impacted by the following products in recent years:
(1) The rise of solid wood composite flooring
Advantages: The foot feel is closer to solid wood, more environmentally friendly (pure solid wood surface), suitable for mid-to-high-end home decoration.
Challenges: The price is still higher than laminate flooring (200~600 yuan/㎡), but consumers' demand for health and environmental protection is growing, and some users are turning to solid wood composite.
(2) Impact of SPC flooring (waterproof flooring)
Advantages: 100% waterproof (laminate flooring is afraid of water), zero formaldehyde, thinner (4-6mm), suitable for humid areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, basements, etc.
Challenges: The price is close to that of laminate flooring (80~200 yuan/㎡), grabbing part of the market share.
(3) Consumers' environmental awareness is increasing
The base material (HDF) of laminate flooring contains glue, and inferior products may exceed the formaldehyde standard, while ENF grade (≤0.025mg/m³) high-end laminate flooring has a higher cost.
Some consumers turn to pure solid wood, solid wood composite or SPC flooring in pursuit of more environmentally friendly options.
(4) Consumption upgrade, high-end market is seized
In first- and second-tier cities, mid- and high-end users prefer solid wood composite, imported laminate flooring or SPC flooring, and ordinary laminate flooring is regarded as a "low-end product".
